South Africa Crowned Polocrosse World Cup Champions on Thrilling Final Day
The Protea team was crowned the 2015 Polocrosse World Cup champions when they defeated Zambia in the finals held on Sunday 12 July at the Durban Shongweni Club.

South Africa and Australia made their mark on day two of the 2015 Polocrosse World Cup at the Durban Shongweni Club on Saturday 4 July. The tournament runs until Sunday 5 July; thereafter the World Cup resumes from 10 to 12 July with the semifinals and finals.

A moving ceremony was held with national anthems and team introductions. Guest speakers included Wessel Strauss (President: International Polocrosse Confederation), Andre Truter (President: Polocrosse Association of South Africa) and Prem Vayapuri (Director: KZN Department of Sport and Recreation). Well-known farmer and preacher Angus Buchan delivered the event blessing.
